Robinson Waste is a leading vertically integrated environmental services platform providing waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal solutions across Northern Utah. Since its founding in 1989 by Steve and Karen Robinson, the company has established a strong market position through a consistent commitment to customer service, operational excellence, and community partnership.

During ERA’s ownership, Robinson Waste executed a strategic transformation focused on expanding its recycling and transfer station infrastructure capabilities while strengthening the company’s core collection operations. ERA partnered closely with management to implement a comprehensive value creation strategy designed to support long-term growth, operational scalability, and enhanced environmental infrastructure services across the region.

Key initiatives completed during the investment period included the integration of several accretive collection operations, the acquisition of a materials recycling facility, expansion and modernization of the company’s fleet, and the development of the Ogden Transfer Station, a state-of-the-art facility, to better serve surrounding municipalities and commercial customers.

These investments significantly enhanced the platform’s infrastructure footprint and positioned the business to capitalize on increasing demand for vertically integrated environmental services and recycling solutions throughout the greater Salt Lake City region.
